Mythi-Mash
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Save all your mythical creature friends before the evil corporation, Mythi-Mash Inc, turns them all into canned mash! Mix and match the body parts of rescued beasts to gain special abilities that help you through levels!
This game was created in 2 weeks for an assignment in ARTG 170 at UCSC in 2023. I'd say a got a lot done for it but wish I had had more time for level design. I'd love to implement levels that challenge you to use your parts more and are more satisfying to speed run. There are def some glitches too but if you run into any, press "R" to restart.
To play, you'll have to download the free version of Game Maker Studio 2. Then open the game and press the play button over near the top left.
Must have a mouse to play!
Controls:
- Space to start the game
- WASD to move
- Scroll mouse to select body part
- Left & Right mouse buttons to choose body part
- Space to use special abilities

I used to have the paid version of GMS but now the program isn't recognizing that so I can no longer download as HTML without paying like $100 :/
